Some lobstermen have gone to direct sales in the midst of limited demand for fresh seafood. If you are looking for lobsters straight off the boat, you have to contact the individual boats via their Facebook page and follow directions for ordering.

Yankee Fishermen's Coop, on Route 1A, just over the bridge after Hampton Beach, in Seabrook collectively buys from several lobstermen daily. 

Please remember to wear a mask, bring your own container (if buying directly off the boat) and practice the 6 foot social distancing protocol when picking up your lobsters from our lobstermen.

We are so excited to announce we have just created a new way for our supporters to buy local seafood, without committing to a weekly Membership! Introducing the Flexible Fish Membership!

Many of our former and potential new members have said in the past that weekly fish and shellfish is too much for them. We have come up with a new Membership called Flexible Fish. 

Here's how it works:

• Order any week you like, no weekly Membership commitment!
• Select your pick up location when you sign up, you can change your location weekly if needed
• Selections will include Catch of the Week Fish, Weekly Haddock and  biweekly Shellfish, it looks like this
• Pay as you go, one time sign up fee of $10

If you haven't seen us in the news yet,  click here for a link to the state of our local fishing industry, since the Coronovirus pandemic, on WBZN news last week, Channel 4 in Boston. 

Local fishermen currently have very little demand for their product. Almost 90 % of our seafood in NH is shipped out of state or exported within 24 hours of landing! These markets are typically wholesale brokers or restaurants and they are not available to our fishermen right now.

We are a cooperative and buy directly from local fishermen, lobstermen and oyster farmers and sell directly to you, the consumer. We pay all our fishermen a fair market price plus an incentive, on every pound of seafood we buy! Our Spring Session starts the week of May 18!

PICK UPS: For pick up locations with staffed volunteers, we will have every  precaution in place to assure your safety. Other pick ups will be self serve with no contact pick up.

The Coronovirus COVID19 pandemic has greatly affected our local fishing industry and fishermen throughout the World. In NH, many fishermen are seeing brokers and auctions where they typically sell fish and lobster, having little demand for their product.

This is because 90% of our seafood in the US continues to be imported and the majority of the seafood caught in NH goes to  out of state wholesalers and restaurants. And 80% of the US seafood that is consumed in the US, is in restaurants!

Due to the growing concerns of the novel coronavirus, COV-19, we are postponing the start date of our Spring Session to May 18. This will simply run the session 4 weeks longer than originally projected.

This is not because local seafood is not safe to eat, it involves all our public venues that host our Pick up locations. Many will be closed and the CDC has advised us to not gather in large groups and practice social distancing.

In the meantime, if you want to support local fishermen, go to Yankee Fishermen's Coop, just over the Hampton Beach, NH bridge on Ocean Boulevard in Seabrook, NH. Tell them we sent you!

We are happy to announce we have enabled our 2020 Season sign ups for our Community Supported Fishery (CSF) with NH Community Seafood! Our Season starts April 20 this year.

In the US, 90% of our seafood is imported! By purchasing fresh, local, wild caught seafood from our NH and regional fishermen and shellfish harvesters, you are supporting our local economy, our working waterfront and our environment!

We are in our eight year and will be offering the following share options this year, at one of our 20 Pick up Locations: 

• 8, 16 and 32 week (Annual) Fish shares with options of 2lb, 1lb and 1/2 lb share per week
• Shellfish shares for both 16 and 32 weeks, including Lobsters, Crabs, Scallops, Oysters and Mussels
